What does a process server do?

A process server will travel to an address, residential or business, to physically serve the servee. We also serve at correctional facilities. They serve the servee according to the rules of the jurisdiction that the papers derived from. If unable on any attempt to reach the servee they perform diligence by documenting their surroundings, conversations with people they come in contact and license plate numbers of vehicles at the location, and will perform location searches also known as skip tracing to determine residency or location of the servee.
